Kenya Airways, Ethiopian Airlines, Egyptian Airways and Turkish Airways doing it why not Air Tanzania ?
MAYBE strategization lacking. Is it necessary for all of us to enter into the passenger business ? Why not cargo from Dubai, China and the Far East to serve the rich hinterland behind us ?

Management is about people
Management is an art and science that develops over time and they grow well where those who manage and the ones managed used a common language to all. Preferably, their own lingua franca. See the case of the Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Indians, Malaysians, Indonesians as compared to Africa and its misplaced reliance on non-African languages to develop its management resources.
Management is about people because good managers don't do anything. But just manage. And they manage by empowering people to do their own work with minimal interference. It is about joint vision and mission, trust and confidence in one another.
When a leader pays foreigners better than his own people and still goest to castigate his/her countrymen as lazy, thieves and good for nothing people-he is not managing but shattering not only the economy and business presently, but worse still the future of his people and country.
